The Student Government Association (SGA) at King University is dedicated to serving all King students. The SGA acts as a liaison between the students and the university administration, charters and funds campus clubs and organizations, and helps plan campus events in conjunction with SLACK. We encourage you to get involved, stay informed, talk to your SGA representatives, and attend Senate meetings. It is important to hear from who we represent, so we can be the true voice of the students.
We prepare students in our Christian academic community to excel as thoughtful, resourceful, and responsible citizens with a passion for serving God, the Church, and the world.
We accomplish this through excellent teaching, high expectations, worthwhile example, and fidelity to our Presbyterian heritage. Our mission is the same for all campuses and sites; for online learning; and for all programs, curricular and extracurricular, graduate and undergraduate.
“Our mission is legislative and facilitative: we are to rule on issues relating to the student body, and we are to be the liaison between the student body and the faculty and administration. We are committed to lives of service and servant leadership in all areas, feeding the campus ethos and following the mission of the University: to build meaningful lives of achievement and cultural transformation in Christ.”
