The teacher education programs are approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education.
The School of Nursing programs are fully approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, and are a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice program at King University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.
The Athletic Training program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).1
The Bachelor of Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education's Commission on Accrediation (CSWE).
